According to scriptures, the midst of the year is a season or revival in God's agenda, ordained to launch His people into their high places in life - Hab. 3:2 / 17-19
The months of June and July constitute the midst of the year according to Hag. 1:1 and Hag. 2:1, with five months on either side of the divide.
But the wisdom of God demands that we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things that others are dying to get shall be added to us Matt. 6:33
Unfortunately, a number of believers are not experiencing the favour of God in return for their stewardship because the righteousness factor is missing - Psa. 5:12/Isa. 34:16, Heb. 12:28
We also discover in Matt. 6:33 that serving God as priority is what counts the most, as one cannot give God the first place in his life and not experience God's favour in return. The widow of Zarephath heeded Elijah's instruction, made for him and she was feeding fat all through the famine - 1 Kgs 17:8-15
In addition, a conscious and deliberate departure from iniquity is a fundamental requirement for profitable stewardship. Everyone should hunger and thirst for the next level of sanctification as we engage in the pursuit of God in this season - Isa. 52:11, 2 Tim. 2:19-21
